This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may not do with A2Z PDF (the "Service"). It applies to everyone who uses the Service and forms part of our Terms of Service.
A2Z PDF is a neutral document utility. You alone are responsible for how you use it.
You must NOT use the Service to:
- Forge or create fraudulent documents — make, alter, or produce counterfeit, forged, fake, or fraudulent documents of any kind.
- Tamper with official or government documents — alter, edit, falsify, or recreate government-issued IDs, Aadhaar, PAN, passports, driving licences, voter IDs, certificates, degrees, mark sheets, stamps, seals, signatures, court or legal documents, or any official record, with intent to deceive or without lawful authority.
- Commit financial or commercial fraud — falsify invoices, receipts, bank statements, salary slips, tax documents, or contracts to mislead any person or institution.
- Impersonate — create documents that misrepresent your identity or the identity of any other person or organisation.
- Infringe intellectual property — reproduce, modify, or distribute copyrighted or trademarked material without permission.
- Remove protections you don't own — strip or bypass watermarks, digital signatures, passwords, or security features from documents you do not own or are not authorised to modify.
- Handle illegal or harmful content — create, store, or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that depicts or promotes harm, especially any content that exploits or endangers children.
- Break the law generally — use the Service for any purpose that violates the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, intellectual-property laws, or any other applicable law of India or your jurisdiction.
- Attack or abuse the Service — attempt to hack, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or interfere with the Service or its verification systems, or use automated means to abuse email verification.
Consequences of violations
- We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service.
- Where the law requires it, or where we receive a valid legal request, we may report violations and share relevant records with the appropriate authorities.
- You remain fully and personally liable for any unlawful use, and you agree to indemnify us as set out in the Terms of Service.
